Nature of the Service

Kershaw County Released Inmates is an independent reference resource. It keeps no official jail or court records, cannot confirm current custody, cannot release a person, and cannot submit an agency form for a visitor.

The site points readers toward Kershaw County detention information, South Carolina corrections resources, and third-party research tools. Each outside provider controls its own service.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and without harming people, systems, or other users. In particular, a visitor may not:

• Break any local, state, or federal law.
• Use information to stalk, threaten, or harass a person.
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on site content.

South Carolina public-record access is governed by Title 30, Chapter 4, while Title 30, Chapter 2 restricts certain commercial use of personal information from public records.

Service Without Warranties
